Project Overview: Building upon the successful rebranding of Clean Error Records, I took on the challenge of managing and creatively directing their media section, particularly the YouTube channel. This included the creation of videos, graphics, and post-production work, all aligned with the client's vision of a cyberpunk aesthetic. A key highlight was the development of two custom loop videos for the label's special 24-hour streaming events.

Challenges: The primary challenge was to infuse the client's desire for a cyberpunk theme into the visual and auditory aspects of their media content. This required not only creative art direction but also technical prowess in video production and sound design. Additionally, maintaining the rebranded identity of Clean Error Records in these media outputs was crucial for brand consistency.

Solutions:

• Content and Art Direction: My approach to managing the YouTube channel was grounded in a strong content and art direction strategy. This involved planning, designing, and executing a series of media pieces that resonated with the label’s cyberpunk theme.
• 3D Asset Adaptations: Utilizing my skills in 3D manipulation, I adapted assets originally from a game library. These adaptations involved significant modifications in texture and color, employing tools like Midjourney, Photoshop, After Effects, and Cinema 4D. The result was a series of visually striking 3D assets that aligned perfectly with the cyberpunk aesthetic.
• Silent, Seamless Loop Videos: In a strategic move, I chose to produce the videos as silent, seamless loops. This design choice was made to ensure that the visuals could ideally complement background music without competing for the viewer's attention. These loop videos were particularly effective during the label’s 24-hour streaming events.
• Sound Design and Artwork Direction: The sound design and artwork for the label's media content were all directed by me, reflecting a deep understanding of the client's preferences and the cyberpunk style. The synergy between visual and auditory elements in these productions showcased my holistic approach to media creation.

Outcome:

The YouTube channel for Clean Error Records emerged as a testament to creative and technical excellence in media production. The cyberpunk-themed videos and graphics not only enhanced the label's online presence but also deepened audience engagement. The custom loop videos for special events were especially well-received, demonstrating the effectiveness of my silent, seamless loop approach.

This project exemplified my ability to direct and execute a comprehensive media strategy, blending art direction with advanced technical skills in 3D manipulation and post-production.
